Let Us Find Joy in the Field of Sufferings!

Warm greetings to the beloved friends of Kerith in the name of Jesus Christ!

Richard Wurmbrand and his wife Sabina, who endured years of torture in a communist prison, explained what they learned in this way: "In prison, we shed theology and learned God Himself." In a similar manner, Martin Luther said, "I did not understand the true meaning of the Scripture until I faced afflictions."

It is a principle of the Kingdom of God that suffering for the sake of Christ increases our joy in the Lord. Trouble and suffering will surely come to those who desire to live according to the Word of God for the sake of righteousness. When experiencing trouble in this world, the children of Christ should rejoice. For the more Christians suffer for righteousness, the higher the blessings they will receive.

When Paul tells Timothy: "In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted" (2 Timothy 3:12).

Therefore, my dear young hearts, heavenly gifts and a share in the Kingdom of God are promised to those who suffer for righteousness and endure agony. Blessed are those who undergo affliction by remaining faithful to Christ, because the Holy Spirit rests upon them in a special way.

The Lord blessed the youth meetings held in the September month across the Tondiarpet, Choolaimedu, and Red Hills mission districts. Please pray without fail for the upcoming youth meetings, camps, and Mission Expo ministries scheduled for the month of October.

May the Lord Himself bless you all. Amen!

In Christ’s service,

J. Daniel Arulmani
